The Problem
Non-profits struggled with fragmented data, manual reporting, and limited real-time visibility into grant spending and program outcomes. Critical information lived across disconnected systems, leading to operational inefficiency, delayed decisions, and lost funding opportunities.
My Focus
Design a platform that unified grant, budget, and impact data into a single source of truth, reducing reporting overhead while enabling proactive, data-driven decision-making across teams.
Key Decisions
Automated reporting workflows to eliminate manual data aggregation
Unified financial, operational, and impact data into shared, role-accessible KPIs
Prioritized budget vs. actuals visibility to support real-time funding decisions
Designed flexible KPI builders to support diverse donor and program requirements
Surfaced trends and signals through live tracking and “Smart Statements”
The System
A grant-optimizing platform enabling:
AI-generated reports produced in minutes
Real-time budget tracking and spending insights
Integrated data views usable across departments
Custom impact metrics and donor analytics
Proactive monitoring of trends and performance
Impact
80% reduction in reporting time through AI-powered automation
15+ teams actively using AI for budgeting and reporting
100+ demo calls booked by non-profit leaders, signaling strong adoption interest
Why This Matters
Pebble Impact demonstrates my approach to designing data-heavy platforms that remove operational friction and enable smarter decision-making at scale, especially in resource-constrained, high-accountability environments like non-profits.
